This is a view of Vina del Mar, where I'll probably be living at for the next 5 months.
The center building is the main one for the University I'll be studying at: La Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile.I leave on the 15th of July!

Just from these pictures I already writhe with jealousy (I could be happy for you, but, you know how I am, it's always about me).
I saw that you had arrived at the hotel. Try not to make too many friends who are better people than me/the Bloomington Crew, because then you'll just be disappointed when you have to come back to us.
I know the first few days are always crazy, Pete, but I am anxiously awaiting your first real post!

I know you dont know me, but I was just google searching some pictures of Chile. I lived down there for a year when I was in high school and I absolutely loved everything about it. My host sister was studying in La Universidad de Andres Bellos in Vina, so I spent a lot of time there. The picture you have of Vina from the beach actually has my host parents apartment building in it. The buildings right by the sun clock, which I'm sure you have seen before. Anyways, best of luck, and enjoy my beloved Chile, oh how I long to return.
